Ways to Contact Us

We welcome comments from the citizens of our community. Have we done something well? Are you pleased with an officer's performance? We'd love to hear from you. If we have not done so well, we need to hear about that too.
Please contact us by stopping in between 8am and 4pm on regular business days, calling 206-842-5211, emailing, or by sending correspondence to 625 Winslow Way East, Bainbridge Island, WA, 98110. 

If you wish to file a formal complaint against a policy or a specific officer, please feel free to use our Complaint Form (using the form is not mandatory).  Bear in mind:

• Every complaint becomes a public record.
• Every complaint is reviewed personally by the Chief of Police.
• Complaints may be shared with other departments and agencies.
• Anonymous complaints are okay, but we will not be able to get back to you regarding the status or outcome of the complaint unless you give us a method to do so.

Other Communication Resources

If you want to report a crime or speak to an officer for any reason (even when it is not an emergency!) please call 911.

Some types of crimes can be reported online through Kitsap Central Communications (CenCom). Please feel free to use that system to report harassing phone calls, identity theft, lost property, theft, and vandalism.  If you are experiencing an emergency, or if you want to report a crime for which there are known suspects, it is better to call 911.
