2010 Comprehensive Plan Amendment Requests

Three requests to amend the Comprehensive Plan as part of the annual amendment process  established by BIMC 18.117 have been received and will go to the Planning Commission for review:

CPA16090, Donald Roose: Amendment request to change the Land Use Map designation for 0.54 acre parcel (tax lot #102502-2-007-2002) located at the southwest corner of the intersection Day Road and Miller Rd, from Open Space Residential 0.4 (OSR) to Light Manufacturing (LM).

 

CPA 14567, Andrew Cainion: Amendment request to change the Land Use Map designation of a .88 acre parcel (tax lot # 212502-3-011-2001) located south of the Fletcher Bay and New Brooklyn Road intersection, from Open Space Residential 0.4 (OSR) to Neighborhood Commercial (NSC); and to amend Policies LU 1.3 and NSC 1.3.
CPA 16152, City of Bainbridge Island: Amend Policy E 2.7 & Policy LM 2.1 to remove specific references to a master plan review requirement related to properties zoned Light Manufacturing (LM), located west of SR 305 and north of Day Road.
Proposed schedule:
These applications will be reviewed by the Planning Commission at their regular meetings in May (May 13 and May 27) and a public hearing concerning these proposals is scheduled for June10, 2010. These meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. After the public hearing, the Planning Commission will make their recommendation on all the 2010 amendments, and forward their recommendations to the City Council for a decision. Council will consider the 2010 Comprehensive Plan Amendment requests during the summer and make their decisions on the applications in the fall.
