Suzuki Property

Suzuki AerialThe City of Bainbridge Island is the owner of a 13.83 acre undeveloped property located at the southeast corner of New Brooklyn and Sportsman Club Roads, commonly referred to as the Suzuki property.

In 2014, the City held a Community Workshop to solicit community input on whether and how the property should be sold, and what use should be made of the property.

In 2015, the City issued a Request for Proposals for the possible development of the site. The deadline for submission was November 30, 2015. The following four submissions were received:

Bainbridge Island Metro Park and Recreation District
Blue Architecture + Interiors
Housing Resources Bainbridge/Housing Kitsap
Olympic Property Group/Davis Studio Architecture + Design

Thanks to Bainbridge Community Broadcasting for providing this podcast that includes a brief summary of all of the proposals.
