REGISTRATION REQUIRED: A collaboration with Disney to empower 3rd and 5th graders and their families to respond to natural disasters in our area with confidence. This 60 minute presentation dives deeper into earthquakes, house fires and building a kit. Students decorate their own pillowcase which they can keep to create a disaster supply kit.

The City of Bainbridge Island has established three shelter sites on the island in 2016: The Bainbridge Island Senior Center, St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, and Island Church. If you are interested in helping out in a Warming Center or Severe Weather Shelter on Bainbridge Island during an activation, you will need to take this class.
