There will be no building inspections or submittals on Thursday, August 11th, while the building staff attends training on the 2009 Energy Code.
Building inspections are performed to ensure that structures are safe to visit and inhabit. To make an appointment for a building inspection, call (206) 780-3789. Unless other instructions are received, inspections requested before 3 pm will be scheduled for the following business day.
The following information should be included in the inspection request:
- Building Permit Number
- Type of inspection
- Site address
- Contact phone
- Date requesting inspection
- Contact name
For a framing inspection, the electrical must be inspected and approved.
For a "final inspection," the electrical final, drainage, road approach, and Kitsap County Health Department Final must be approved.
Any incomplete information will delay your inspection request.
Building inspections are part of the building permit process - there are no additional fees due when an inspection is scheduled. However, an additional fee may be charged for re-inspections.
