User Instructions for SeeClickFix Evaluation Project

When you report an issue, become a watcher of an issue, or create your own watch area, you will receive automatic emails from the SeeClickFix website acknowledging your issue report and each time the issues you are watching change status. Additionally, if you create a watch area, you will receive emails on the status of every issue created or changed according to the watch area properties you set.

Reporting An Issue

Click on the Map at approximate location or click on the words “report an issue” in the black area at the top of the map.

1. You can turn on the aerial photo by clicking on “Hybrid”

2. Zoom in to your location

3. You can move the map around when your cursor is over the map and you see the hand cursor.

4. Drag the locator icon to the location you want or type in the address.

5. Click the “Report Here! Button

6. In “Report to …”, choose the issue type under “City of Bainbridge Island”

7. Fill out the form and submit it by clicking on “Report your issue”

8. If your issue is a “Water Pollution” or “Code Enforcement Violation” issue then it will show up on the map and in the list on the COBI website. If it is not, you will need to go to the SeeClickFix website to track your issue.

a. Ctrl+click on SeeClickFix

b. Type in 98110 in “city” box

c. You will see a list if issues

d. You can click on the “activity map” tab and see your issue on the map.

Viewing and Tracking Issues

There are several ways that you can view and track issues.

1. Click on the issue on the map.

2. Click on an issue in the list on the right side of the web page.

These two methods display the same dialog box about the issue. This gives you information about the specific issue you clicked on. Click on the “blue underlined” text to see various things.

1. The “plus sign” and the “comments(n)/close ticket” display details on the issue.

2. The “I want this fixed too!” will add your vote to the issue.

3. The “I” button at the bottom and the issue Name will take you to the SeeClickFix website where you can explore their full capabilities
