The system used must be based on:
An up-to-date map showing the location of the environment designations, as well as management policies for each proposed environment designation are also required.
The City of Bainbridge Island’s Shoreline Update CitizenTask Force reviewed the City’s existing shoreline environment designation criteria and designation map, as well as an analysis of the City’s existing SMP’s consistency with current State Guidelines, and worked with staff to update the shoreline environment designations, the designation criteria and policies, and the designations map.
The draft revisions to the shoreline environment designations were then reviewed by the Environmental Technical Advisory Committee (ETAC).
