This project will improve reliability and redundancy and will include energy efficient process upgrades, more efficient process control and better odor and noise control. Key elements of this project include construction of a Headworks Building, Blower Building, Solids Handling Building, modifications to the Aeration Basin, a Fine Bubble Aeration System, Odor Control System, upgrading the Clarifiers, and installation of new electrical controls and SCADA system
Both the Contractor and City project management staff mobilized to the treatment plant site in April 2008. The project will be completed in 2010.
